INDIANAPOLIS, November 11, 2020 — Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. continues to expand its candle wax business with the launch of its newest candle brand, TitanWax.
Calumet’s TitanWax offerings include paraffin blends and a variety of custom blend formulations, including paraffin/natural wax blends, for use in container candles, wax melts, pillars, votives, tea lights and other specialty candle applications.
“Calumet has been a leading provider of superior wax solutions for more than 20 years, and our TitanWax blends are another milestone as we continue to grow our candle business,” said John Nitkey, director of wax sales.“ The TitanWax brand demonstrates our commitment to the candle industry.”
Earlier this year, Calumet acquired Paralogics, LLC, a leading producer of candle and industrial wax blends in Muncie, Indiana. Paralogics expands Calumet’s presence in the specialty wax blending and packaging market, and Calumet will add 20 million pounds of annual blended wax manufacturing capabilities.
Calumet’s facilities in both Shreveport, Louisiana and Muncie, Indiana will produce the new TitanWax line for Calumet’s current and prospective candle manufacturing customers.
“I am excited about the investments we’ve made in our candle wax business over the past several years,” added Nitkey. “We believe the launch of TitanWax continues our journey as we deliver precision candle blending, customized formulations, and value by offering the right wax for all our customers’ candle needs.”
