Community involvement has always been important at Calumet. In addition to local outreach and donations, our Calumet Proud Giving campaigns over the past year have resulted in nearly $25,000 of monetary donations to charities as well as large donations of food, pet supplies, etc.
Recently, Calumet partnered with Restored Creations, a social enterprise of Wheeler Mission’s Center for Women and Children in Indianapolis. Restored Creations is a candle-making business that allows the women at the shelter to learn marketable skills from candle-making to social media marketing to business planning. The funds from candle sales go back into the mission. Calumet donated 600 pounds of TitanWax™ from our Paralogics location, enough to meet the needs of Restored Creations for a full year.
